Once you have provided the Client ID and Client Secret from your Google account, you need to click the button below “Connect to Google Sheets API” and follow the necessary steps. If everything is done correctly, then it will show you an appropriate connection status.

The following plugin settings are currently available:

  • Sync direction – allows you to decide whether you would like to sync your store’s stock to a Google spreadsheet, or the other way around, to sync stock from a Google spreadsheet back to your WooCommerce store.
  • Real-time sync – this option is only available when you’re syncing your store’s stock to Google Sheets. It allows you to perform the synchronization instantly, at the same moment, when stock levels of a product have been changed (because either a product was updated or a new order was placed).
  • Sync interval – when using scheduled synchronization, you can choose its interval (15 minutes, 1 hour, 12 hours, or 24 hours).
  • Google Sheet URL – copy and paste your Google spreadsheet URL into this field (and this is the only setting here that requires your attention, configuring other settings here is optional).
  • Columns mapping – this option allows you to decide which column in your Google Sheet will serve a purpuse of a stock quantity.

The goal is to keep the plugin as simple as possible; however, more options are coming in the next plugin releases.

4. Start syncing stock with Google Sheets

No more configuration is needed – the plugin will perform automatic stock synchronization of the products (and product variations) with the Google Sheet provided in the plugin settings.
