Simple Inventory Sync vs Simple Crossposting
Currently I have three plugins that allow to sync products between WooCommerce stores in one or another way. Let’s find out what is the difference between them.
Simple Inventory Sync | Simple Crossposting | |
---|---|---|
A product is updated in the admin area | Stock status and quantity will be updated for products with the same SKU on the connected stores. | All product data will be updated for products you have crossposted with the plugin before on selected stores. If you need to connect existing products on all stores by SKU, you can use a free add-on. |
A product is purchased | Stock status and quantity will be updated for products with the same SKU on the connected stores. | Nothing happens. |
You’re using WordPress Multisite | The plugin automatically detects whether it is a multisite installation or not. | There is a multisite version of the plugin and also a regular one. |
You need to sync all products at the same time, not one by one | The plugin has a lightning fast tool in WooCommerce > Status > Tools, that allows to do that. | There is a free add-on, which is not so fast as a status tool because we need to sync all the product data here (multisite version and non-multisite version) |
The last question you might have – are the plugins compatible with each other? Sure they are!
