In case you are using The Events Calendar plugin in your WordPress sites / WordPress Multisite network, please read below how to make it fully compatible with my crossposting plugins.

Events – is just a custom post type, so, by default, they will be crossposted. However, some of the functionality of the Events Calendar could be missing.

First things first, please install and activate an appropriate add-on for the Events Calendar.

In case you’re using a multisite version of the crossposting plugin:

For a non-multisite version of the crossposting plugin:

Download Simple WP Crossposting – The Events Calendar 1.0

Also, if you’re using a non-multisite version, don’t forget to configure custom fields.

If you’re using the “Allowed Post Types” option, make sure that you have added custom post types of the Events Calendar there: tribe_events, tribe_venue, and tribe_organizer.

If the “Allowed Post Types” field is empty, there is no need to do it.

Last but not least, to make Venues and Organizers crossposted correctly, you have to crosspost them first, before crossposting events.

So, the default functionality of the Events Calendar is fully supported, however, I can not guarantee the full support of extra add-ons for the Events Calendar, for example, the “Event Tickets” plugin.
