Orders Aren’t Getting Synced
In this guide, I will show you a couple of tips that you can follow in case WooCommerce orders aren’t getting synced to connected stores.
Check that Action Scheduler (WooCommerce Cron) is working
Usually, if you have something with the Cron on your WooCommerce store, all orders that should be synced automatically (when the “Auto Mode” is turned on) won’t get through.
First, I recommend you open the WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions page and check if there are any errors.
Second, I have a step-by-step guide where I show how to fix cron jobs on your website.
Check for errors in Status > Logs
In case only some orders aren’t getting synced, it means that we need to check WooCommerce error logs to collect more information.
To do so, let’s navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and then select the latest log file with the “order-sync” source name.
Invalid parameter(s): billing [rest_invalid_param]– Order lacks required billing information – billing country and/or email. WooCommerce doesn’t allow us to sync an order to a remote store when this information is missing.Coupon does not exist! [woocommerce_rest_invalid_coupon]– The same coupons should exist in both sending and receiving stores.Product ID or SKU is required. [woocommerce_rest_required_product_reference]– This error usually occurs when an order includes products without SKU. There are two solutions to this:- To provide SKU for every product and product variation.
- To use it together with my Simple WordPress Crossposting plugin – it can check whether a product exists on a target site and if not – it will sync products included in the order along with the order.
One more thing, if you’re using Simple WordPress Crossposting, make sure the same store is added in the plugin settings and that “Products” are allowed for syncing here:
